What log diameter does it take?
There is a limit on diameter and above all on length, set by the working bed: a log that is too long simply will not fit. Measure the biggest pieces you have and let us know, so we can check the machine suits before you come to collect it.
Is a normal household socket enough?
The electric version runs off a domestic supply, but it draws a lot on start up: a thin, long extension lead can trip the residual current device. Use an extension lead of adequate cross section and the nearest socket, which is the most common practical problem.
Is it risky to use?
