No, and we would rather say so straight away: our fleet covers power, working light, work at height and handling. For lenses and camera bodies you are better off with a specialist rental house, while we cover everything around the set.
How do I size the generator for a set?
List for us what has to work at the same time, not the theoretical total: lights, monitors, battery charging and the crew coffee machine all on together is the sum that counts. It is the most frequent sizing mistake.
Does the generator make noise during filming?
Yes, and on a shot with live sound it is a real problem. Tell us if you are recording live audio: it changes where the set is placed and how much cable is needed, and it has to be decided before arriving on location.
Can you deliver directly to the location?
Collecting from us is the simplest option, but for sets in awkward places delivery often makes sense. Tell us where the location is and whether a vehicle can get close, and we will confirm whether it falls within the service.
Are one or two day rentals a problem?
No, they are the norm for productions: short and very intense. What helps us is knowing in advance, because over a two day window there is no room to recover if the machine is already booked.
Is power needed even for a simple photo shoot?
