How much weight does it take?
The figure that counts is the combined weight of the two people plus any equipment, not the number of places. Above the recommended load the board sinks at the back, gets slow and steers badly. Message us with rough weights and we will check together that the combination suits.
Is it all right with a child?
Yes, and it is one of the main uses: the child sits at the front and the adult paddles from behind. A life jacket in the right size is essential and has to be tried on before you get into the water, not in it. Tell us the age and weight and we will prepare the right size.
Is it harder to transport?
Yes, it is longer and heavier than a single board, so with two of you it handles well but on your own it becomes awkward, especially from the car park to the water. If you are planning to load it into a car, tell us what car you have and we will work out whether it stacks up.
One double or two singles?
