Can they be used outdoors?
Yes. On uneven grass, check that the legs sit well: a wobbly table tips over exactly when there are cups on it.
How much space is needed?
Allow about half a metre of table edge per seated child, plus room to get past around it. If space is tight, two small tables work out better than one long one.
