Why do you not publish a rate card on the site?
Because the same equipment carries different figures depending on duration, quantity, delivery and accessories, and a single published number would be right for only a minority of requests. Does the quote commit me to anything?

Is it better to rent or to buy?

Is the deposit included in the rental figure?
No, they are two separate things. The deposit is a security amount returned when you bring the equipment back intact and complete, while the rental is the cost of the service. We show them separately in the quote, so you can see the difference straight away.
Does the price change if I extend the rental?
Yes, and usually in your favour: the daily rate tends to fall over longer periods. If you realise part way through that you need more time, write to us before the end date, so we can update the calculation and check the equipment is still free.
How do I get a reliable figure in the first message?
Send us the equipment, the start and return dates, the area and whether you are collecting or need delivery, all in one go. With those four details we can reply with a complete figure instead of opening a round of questions, and you save half a day of messages.
Do you provide written quotes that can be passed on to others?
Yes. If you have to present the cost to a client, an office or a meeting, tell us who it is for and what it needs to contain: we will prepare a document that makes sense to someone who has not followed the WhatsApp conversation.
