What wind conditions are there at Chia?
The area is known for being windy for much of the year, and that is why surfers and kiters go there. The conditions on the day do change, though, and we do not forecast them: check the local forecast and use the rental to have the equipment ready for when the good window arrives.
Do you need experience for kitesurfing?
Yes, and on this we are direct: kiting is not something to learn on your own on a windy beach. If you are a beginner you are better off with a school on the spot. We rent to those who already know how to handle the equipment and the conditions.
How far is Chia from Cagliari?
A little under an hour by car to Pula and around an hour and a bit to Chia, along the south west coast. Passing through Cagliari on arrival, collecting is not a detour but a point on the route you take anyway.
Is it worth renting for the whole stay?
If you do wind sports, almost certainly yes: the good windows are not every day, so having the equipment ready means being able to go out when the conditions are there, instead of hunting for it on exactly the best day.
