Does cotton stand up to sun and salt?
It stands up to normal use well, but it is a natural fabric and has to be treated as such: put away dry and not left wet and folded for days, otherwise the fabric suffers. At collection we explain the few precautions that keep it in good order.
Is it all right in wind?
The same rule applies as with any parasol: in strong wind you close it, you do not hope it holds. On sand the anchoring has to go deep, because it is the pole that makes the difference and not the weight of the fabric.
Can it be used for a beach wedding?
It is one of the most requested uses, often in pairs or in groups to create matching areas of shade. If you are setting up an event, tell us how many people and what kind of setup you have in mind, and we will work out the quantity and the positioning together.
What is the difference compared with a normal parasol?
