What is its capacity?

Is it suitable for my car?
What counts is the height of the boot from the ground: on a tall SUV a short ramp ends up too steep and the dog will not use it, because it reads the slope as unsafe. Measure the height and tell us the model, and we will work it out together.
Will the dog go up it on its own?
Almost never straight away. The dog has to be introduced to it calmly, first with the ramp flat on the ground, then at an increasing angle, guided on the lead and with a treat. With a few days of patience most dogs use it without any trouble.
Is it stable while the dog climbs?
It has to be, and that is the condition for the dog to trust it: if it moves even once, many dogs refuse to go back up. Check how it sits on the ground and on the bumper before you let the dog up, especially on gravel or uneven ground.
