Is it suitable for any product?
The equipment applies liquids, but which product is permitted on your crop and with what protective measures is a matter of the label and the regulations, not of the hire. Always follow the instructions on the packaging, including those on personal protection.
How is it cleaned after use?
It has to be rinsed out straight away and thoroughly, running clean water through the lance and the nozzles too, not just the tank. Dried residue blocks the nozzles and, if you change product, it can contaminate the next treatment. At collection we explain the procedure.
How much area does one tankful cover?
It depends on the dilution and on the crop, so the practical reference is how many refills you should allow for in one session. Tell us how much area you need to treat and we will work out together how long it realistically takes.
Is it tiring to carry?
The weight when it is full tells, especially on sloping ground, so it is worth adjusting the shoulder straps properly and not filling it right up if the route is demanding. Better two refills than one session with a full load over awkward ground.
